Ceramiche Refin at Coverings 2008

Due to the importance of the USA market concerning ceramic tiles, Ceramiche Refin, a company which is part of the Atlas Concorde Group, is taking part in Coverings, the most predominant event for the ceramic tile and natural stone industry in the Western Hemisphere.

On this occasion Ceramiche Refin, the world leader in the manufacturing of porcelain stoneware slabs, will present to distributors, retailers, fabricators, architects, designers, builders and installers their latest brand new productions: the X-Stone collection, which represents a new concept of outdoor design, and the Eco-Leader collection, that meets the requirements of the prestigious LEED certification.

The Ceramiche Refin exhibition will also show the Satin and Visual collection, as well as the splendid creativity of Tagli d’Autore, designed by its creative laboratory DesignTaleStudio.

Quality, innovation, creativity and elegance. These are the characteristics of Ceramiche Refin collections, continually surprising the public with their extreme versatility, perfect for the planning of any style of ambience, from interiors to exteriors, from living to public spaces.

Ceramiche Refin offers architects a creative tool to overcome every project situation fully committing itself to the conception of innovative yet functional spaces.
Noteworthy examples of such applications are the many projects created by Ceramiche Refin on a national and international level, that range from prestigious public venues to contract projects. Just to list a few: Spazio Flaminia in Milan, Aldo Cibic’s Moevenpick Restaurant in Berlin and, in partnership with Costa Group furnishings Bar Gallery in Venice.

At the last edition of Salone del Mobile 2008 (Milan, 16-21 April) Ceramiche Refin with its brand DesignTaleStudio organized the event DESIGN ON STAGE 2008 – TRASCREATIVITY which took place at La Triennale. This event, particularly successfully, was the occasion for presenting new artistic expressions by Mario Bellini, Alessandro Mendini, Krizia and Vivienne Westwood, thanks to the versatile working process and the skillness characterizing the Pareti d’Autore ceramic tiles, thought as a work of art connected to design and architecture, representing a new way to make art interact with architecture and interior design, thus offering different artistic interpretations which mark a new concept of space.
