Cersaie 23-27 September 2013: HALL 36, STAND B32-C37 / B33

Following the success of the Frame collection, developed in partnership with Studio FM Milano and the recent honour of winning the European Design Award 2013, Ceramiche Refin launches two new creative proposals to broaden the Frame range and to offer, in particular to the contract sector, an even more complete tool for the interior design of public spaces.

But the main protagonist of Cersaie 2013 will be the new collection inspired by the precious stucco finishes created and used in Italian architecture since the XI century. The same attention to detail used in the past in respect to the choice of materials and the study of application technology were of fundamental importance during the research phase and led to the creation of the new collection designed by Refin; with the indispensable and precious collaboration of craftsmen specialised in Venetian stucco finishes for interior design. The complex research path and the use of avant-garde production technology led to the creation of a traditional product which, nonetheless, has a minimalist design: a series of porcelain stoneware slabs whose surfaces express the prestige and delicacy of Venetian stucco via their wide brushing, their chromatic and textural variations further enhanced by the use of large sizes. The new collection will be available in various floor and wall versions, as well as in a textured version in 2cm thickness suitable for outdoor applications.

Another important innovation is the Mansion collection, evoking the emotion of parquet floors typical of the eighteenth century and ideal for the most sophisticated contemporary venues. Mansion exalts the precious manufacturing of ancient wood combined with the technological innovation of ceramics and is characterised by intense colour shading and marked veining that are created by the expert craftsmanship and the effect of the passing of time on wood. Mansion is a collection with a sought-after appeal; the perfect merger between traditional and modern style in macro-compositions with extraordinary geometrical effects.

While we await further news on what Refin Ceramiche will showcase at Cersaie 2013, it is important to underline the company’s desire to be present in the international market as a partner that stands for and represents innovation and ceramic creativity.
