Respect for the environment, innovation, research and attention to details: these are the key words in the language of Refin, which stands out for the amount of creativity, technology and refreshing versatility. The mission of Ceramiche Refin is that of offering high technical, aesthetical design and quality ceramic tiles, 100% Made in Italy, while being socially responsible and respecting the environment.

Proof of the work and commitment the company puts into eco-sustainability, Refin products win world-wide recognition and awards for technology, products and services able to significantly improve the environment as well as constantly striving to find more eco-sustainable solutions, that meet the building requirements set out by the LEED Building Rating System (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).

Refin products perfectly blend into any existing internal or external space, from living areas to the most intimate of spaces, such as bathrooms as well as kitchens and in private or public spaces.

As well as Pro-gres, launched at Cersaie 2009 in Bologna, Ceramiche Refin will showcase other new collections, with a special focus on Murcia, inspired by natural stone and other natural materials, all produced in porcelain stoneware and all 100% Made in Italy.

Murcia

The Murcia collection takes inspiration from the Crema Marfil marble, a world-famous natural stone from Spain, and takes its name from the Spanish region where the stone is mined.

The marble is brought up to date in a ceramic collection featuring the look and versatility of the natural stone enriched with the excellent technical performances so typical of Refin top quality porcelain stoneware: innovative, eco-sustainable and 100% Made in Italy.
Murcia is a natural collection, not only because it reinterprets a precious natural stone, but also and especially because it is a totally eco-compatible product: the Murcia tiles are manufactured using an appreciated ceramic mix containing 20% post-consumer recycled glass, derived from the recycling of obsolete cathode ray tube TV sets and monitors.

Thanks to their percentage of post-consumer recycled glass, the use of Murcia tiles means the allocation of the maximum possible LEED rating credits and represents an eco-sustainable solution for the green building industry. The Murcia tiles are available in the 60×60 (24″x24″), and 30×60 (12″x24″) sizes and in two versions, both light in colour and both with the characteristic darker, irregular veining which animate, with a changeable amount of intensity, the uniform backdrop colour.
