Past and future, tradition and innovation, history and news. These apparently contrasting themes were the basis for the new collection by Ceramiche Refin: TRACCE.
TRACCE is produced with the same resistance features of standard thickness porcelain stoneware but is also available in the Skin version, the new 4.8 mm thick porcelain stoneware.
TRACCE is available in 60x60, 45X45 and 30x60, three sizes that, in the slim thickness version, facilitate installation procedures. The collection is available in six colours: Luce (white), Sabbia (beige), Creta (tobacco), Terra (brown), Cenere (light grey), Ombra (dark grey)
NEWTECH: The Pro-gres collection
The new decoration process, completely compatible with traditional methods thanks to digital printing, and which creates new opportunities for the ceramic industry, is one of the main features of the Pro-gres collection, as all the characteristics so synonymous with Refin Ceramiche, such as innovation, eco-sustainability and design, have been integrated into it. The sharpness of the image, the countless possible graphics as well as the opportunity to print onto any kind of textured surfaces are the advantages, which, combined with the established technology and the ceramic experience of Refin, mean a unique, unparalleled product.
Stone-Leader
Stone-Leader: porcelain stoneware ceramic tiles manufactured using at least 40% recycled material which meet the requirements of LEED standard (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), the most important and rigorous American certification for energy and the environment.
A collection featuring cutting-edge colours and graphics, in keeping with the demands of the market: ivory, beige, dark and brown in the rectified sizes 30x60 and 60x60 as well as in the natural 30x30 and 45x45 sizes.
Circus: the italian concept of luxury
Ceramiche Refin presents its brand-new collection Circus, with its innovative 3D texture, in keeping with cutting-edge interior design trends.
Circus has many defining characteristics, all which, once again, underline the strong attention to research, which has always been synonymous with Ceramiche Refin: the texture of the tile has circles in relief which create a dynamic effect on the four colours of the backdrop: white, beige, purple and black; the flamboyant baroque decors, enriched with glossy and matt glazes recall the damask patterns, made precious thanks to the use of glass grits and golden powders.
The hand-decorated frame containing pure gold glazes completes the collection, enhancing its luxury and prestige.
R+Evolution
The R+Evolution collection breathes into life, the innovative ceramic series designed exclusively for DesignTale Studio by Karim Rashid. Flooring and wall cladding dress spaces with shapes and colours featuring a modern design, thus creating an effect of chromatic motion. The right collection to dress unique and modern bathrooms, with lively colours perfectly mirroring Rashid's artistic flair. Let us not forget that the Anglo-Egyptian designer was one of the protagonists at the first edition of Design on Stage 2007, at the Triennale in Milan, and he designed a "Parete d'Autore", presented together with the projects of other 5 designers from the world of fashion and art.
Fluid
The brand-new Fluid collection, a ceramic series characterized by glossy reflections matt strokes, delicate shade-on-shade interlocks to create vibrant, engulfing, refined surfaces, will be presented. Here design becomes the absolute protagonist and creates precious and innovative spaces, in keeping with Refin's unmistakeable style.
Eco-Leader: new sizes and decors
The Eco-Leader collection, already launched at Coverings 2008, will see the introduction of new sizes and decors. It is manufactured using a 40% recycled material therefore it meets the requirements set by the LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), the most important and severe American certification for energy and the environment. Thanks to the Eco-Leader collection, Ceramiche Refin expresses its concern as well as its active commitment towards environmental policies, as demonstrated over the years up to and including obtaining Ecolabel certification, the European Union certification for environmental friendliness.
X-Stone: avant-garde outdoor design
Ceramiche Refin's X-STONE collection dresses outdoor areas with the aesthetic quality of natural stone and the resistance of porcelain stoneware, adding a never-before-seen interpretation with an eye on modern design trends. The X-STONE collection avails itself of excellent technical performance thanks to its 11mm thickness, which makes the surface extremely resistant and suitable for many uses, both in public and residential environments, and outdoor as well as indoor areas. X-STONE, available in the four colours - stone, iron, wood and sand - offers a broad range of sizes, amongst which is X-STONE LIGHT, an innovative tile with embedded optic fibres which meet at its centre and can illuminate outdoor paths and walkways requiring light at night.
