On the back of the success of the event at the Palazzo Isolani in 2006 and that of the Triennale exhibition in Milan, DesignTaleStudio presents a never-seen-before “on the road” event that will see the participation of journalists, architects and designers visiting the most renowned Art Galleries in Bologna.
The stages of The Grand Design Tour, displayed under the ancient porticos of Bologna as if pearls mounted in a precious ring, lead the viewer into a unique journey amongst art, design and ceramic culture, showing the creative world of famous international artists.
The Tour will unwind through six Art Galleries that, from October 3 to 6, will host the Pareti d’Autore: large size ceramic 60×120 cm slabs designed by leading figures coming from diverse artistic backgrounds such as architecture, design, art, fashion and music. The extraordinary and internationally famed artists who designed DesignTaleStudio’s Pareti d’Autore are:
Sandra Bermudez, Lucio Dalla, Michele De Lucchi, Elio Fiorucci, Peter Halley e Karim Rashid.
The Tour will start on October 3 at 6.00 p.m. at ICF gallery (7, Via Santo Stefano) where the portraits taken by photographer Claudio Porcarelli on the golden set of Design On Stage will be displayed. The special guest guides for the tour will be fashion-designer Elio Fiorucci and the architect Laura Villani, who has already successfully organized DesignTaleStudio events. As the event is held in Bologna, what more fitting way to end the Tour than with a buffet giving you the opportunity to meet Elio Fiorucci at the ICF gallery.

The artists Sandra Bermudez and Peter Halley will be introduced to the guests at the Otto Gallery and at the Galleria d’Arte Maggiore G.A.M, respectively, the singer Lucio Dalla will be present at the Trimarchi Arte Moderna gallery, the designers Michele De Lucchi and Karim Rashid will also be present, the former at the Galleria Forni and at the latter at the L’Ariete Artecontemporanea, finally, the Parete created by fashion designer Elio Fiorucci will be displayed at the Galleria Stefano Forni.
